The research extracts Japanese manufacturing firm - level data from databases such as “TSR firm relationship file,” database of Tokyo Shoko Research, LTD and “Basic Survey of Japanese Business Structure and Activities,” of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and; 1) compares the characteristics of manufacturing firms in charge of business in Asian emerging economies and the other firms and classify the effective factors to encourage firms’ business in such economies, and 2) confirms the impact of imports on Japanese manufacturing firms classified by their status of internationalization.

本研究从东京商工研究所的“TSR企业关系档案”、经济产业省的“日本企业活动基本调查”等数据库中提取日本制造业企业层面的数据，第一章比较了亚洲新兴经济体中负责业务的制造企业与其他企业的特征，并将影响因素分类，（2）确认了进口对按国际化程度分类的日本制造业企业的影响。
