1) インドの全国標本調査(NSS)の第50次雇用失業調査個票データ(約17万人)を用いて,農村部女子の経済活動の分析を行い,主たる活動が家事従事の女性が携わる多様な活動実態を明らかにした.SNA93に従って経済活動を広く定義すると,女性の総生産への貢献を「正確」に測定することになるが,有業者の変動が隠蔽される危機性がある.「家計補助活動」従事がノミナルな女性が多く,既存の有業者統計では,総従事者の3割程度しか副次的有業者として捕捉されていない.「家計補助活動」従事は世帯の土地保有,所得水準,家族構成などに依存する.これらの知見は特定領域研究「南アジアの変動」第1班研究会(1999年1月)において報告した.2) 1973〜95年のインド農業労働賃金(AWI)を入手し,コンピュータへの入力を進めている.農業労働賃金と大工賃金の州別平均賃金の入力は完了した.両賃金はそれぞれの変動に伴って乖離と漸近を繰り返しているが,両者の間には一定の比率が予想される.この関連を計量分析し,農業労働賃金率決定における制度的要因を析出するためのモデルを構築中である.県別・作業別の月別賃金率データ量が大量のため,その入力は完了していない.3) 1981・91年人口センサスの有業者データの入力作業は完了した.センサスデータとNSSの雇用データとの比較検討を行い,経済活動定義(農業の範囲)と就業者定義(自家消費向け生産の取扱い)の相違による有業者捕捉の相違を明らかにした.4) 自然災害のインパクトについては降雨変動と農業生産のデータを整理し,農業災害の頻度・規模を明らかにした.また,農業災害の影響と公的食糧配給制度の効果を測定するため,1975-95年の農村小売価格の月次データを入手してコンピュータへの入力を行っている.

1)The 50th National Employment Survey (NSS) conducted a survey of 170,000 unemployed women in rural areas. The main activities of women involved in household chores were identified. SNA93 defined the activities of women and determined the contribution of women to overall production. There is a crisis in the industry. "Family subsidy activities" are more common among women, and there are existing industry statistics, and there are three levels of comprehensive activities, and there are sub-industries to capture. Family Subsidy Activities: Land tenure, income level, family composition, and dependency. The 1st Class Research Meeting (January, 1999) on "South China Development"(January, 1999) was held. 2) The 1973 - 1995 AWI (Agricultural Wage Fund) was launched. The average annual income of agricultural and industrial enterprises was reduced. In the case of gold and silver, the ratio between the movement and the deviation is gradually reduced, and the ratio between the movement and the deviation is gradually reduced. The quantitative analysis of this relationship shows that the main factors of agricultural labor rate determination are analyzed and the structure of agricultural labor rate is constructed. 3) The population of 1981 - 91 is the highest in the world. During a comparative discussion between the central support data and the NSS employment data, there is a clear contradiction between the definition of economic activities (the scope of agriculture) and the definition of industries (the scope of domestic consumption and production). 4) In the context of natural disasters, the data on rainfall changes and agricultural production have been sorted out, and the frequency and scale of agricultural disasters have become clear. The impact of agricultural disasters and the effectiveness of the public food distribution system were measured. The monthly distribution of agricultural disasters in rural areas from 1975 to 1995 was analyzed.
