Camosun College's new robotic equipment will help regional manufacturers adopt automation and become more productive. This was made possible with a generous grant awarded to the college by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), a new robot arm with vision-control, automated tool-changers and modern pulse-arc robot-welding capability will be implemented at Camosun's Technology Access Centre (CTAC). CTAC provides industry with innovation services and access to Camosun's technical resources and applied research capabilities.
