Innocorps Research Corporation is a technology company focused on water treatment applications that has developed a containerized system for the treatment of hydraulic fracturing (frac) flowback and produced water. The Environmental Technologies research group in Applied Research and Innovation Services (ARIS) at SAIT Polytechnic will carry out technology verification and assessment of Innocorp's system. The Environmental Technologies research group was launched in 2008, focusing on clean energy strategies and technological solutions to prevent or mitigate the impact of industrial and human activity on air, soil and water. Through the proposed project, SAIT researchers will gain and share new knowledge and expertise in the deployment of clean technology solutions that contribute to sustainable water management and assist Innocorps efforts towards commercialization.
