TUKU Inc. located in London, ON connects physical products to shoppers smartphones, providing rich product and serviceinformation to inform and inspire confident in-store purchase decisions. They are currently in a position to collect a significantrange of unique consumer purchase consideration data through query and behavior tracking, at a location and point in time whereand when the consumer is about to make a purchase. This data is extremely valuable to sellers in understanding how and whyconsumers make their purchase decisions. There is a significant amount real-time information to be gathered from shoppers at thepoint of decision.The proposed project in collaboration with Lambton College will focus on designing different models to generate effective,engaging calls-to-action and experiences that will maintain the shoppers attention and generate meaningful, actionable insightsfor the seller. These insights will enable TUKUs clients to provide better experiences to their customers which will stimulateincreased sales through loyalty, customer retention and advocacy. The project will focus on real-time data collection andstreaming analytics to collect all the relevant data related to customers ranging from their reviews to their online activities .A Principal Investigator,research graduate and two research students students will work closely with Tuku Inc. in carrying out theresearch project activities. The results of the project are projected to create jobs and provide TUKU an opportunity to remaincompetitive even with technology constantly evolving.
