There is demand for high-quality Braille printing for applications such as public signage. Current manufacturing and 3D printing options result in inaccurate bubble spacing and low-quality texture. High-quality CAD Braille character files will be developed, as well as software to convert Braille ASCII codes into the pre-designed character files, to optimize the 3D printing input to ultimately produce better quality 3D printed Braille. Multiple printing materials will also be quality-tested.
