英文摘要
The catalytic reduction of unsaturated chemicals using sustainable reducing reagents such as dihydrogen is a widely used process in pharmaceutical, chemical, and materials industries. This process replies on highly efficient and robust catalysts. For example, the reduction of dinitrogen using dihydrogen into ammonia in the presence of a catalyst is one of the most important industrial processes, which feeds into the production of fertilizers worldwide. The reduction of carbon dioxide into various value-added organic compounds using dihydrogen is another class of highly important chemical transformations, which is relevant to carbon recycling, sustainable energy, and climate change. The proposed work is concerned with developing active and robust catalysts for the reduction of carbon dioxide and other compounds into value-added products using a sustainable reducing reagent such as dihydrogen.
