Sheridan College's Screen Industries Research and Training Centre (SIRT) will work with Toronto-based partner company Dark Slope to prototype virtual production workflows with a focus on the adoption of real-time technology to overcome technical challenges relating to Unreal Engine's nDisplay and Composure plugins. Real-time rendering technologies can offer significant reductions in post-production costs and can optimize production efficiencies in a studio environment. SIRT's approach to the adoption of real-time tools will be to evaluate existing features and develop software solutions for integration into Dark Slope's animation and virtual production pipelines.
