An empirical study on the effectiveness of mathematics education of the experiment/observation type using a mobile learning environment

本研究的目的是开发利用移动学习环境的实验/观察型数学教材，并通过实际课程来验证其教育有效性。在研究期间，我们利用互联网和掌上电脑技术构建了移动学习环境。这节课的内容是通过合作学习，让身处偏远地区的两个班的学生探究走路动作与图形之间的关系。评估课程的结果是，很明显，研究的目的已经达到了。

The purpose of this research is to develop the experiment/observation type of mathematical teaching materials which utilized a mobile learning environment, and to clarify the educational validity by actual lesson. Within the research period, we constructed the mobile learning environment which utilized the Internet and handheld computer technology. The contents of the lesson are that the students of two classes which are present in a remote place investigate the relation between a movement of walking and a graph, through cooperation study. As a result of evaluating the lesson, it became clear that the research's purpose has been achieved.
