The Chow ring and cycle map of the classifying space of a linear algebraic group

2022年度の研究実績の概要は以下の通りです。(1) 2022年7月27日に単著の査読付き論文"Nilpotent elements in the cohomology of the classifying space of a connected Lie group"が学術雑誌 Journal of Topology and Analysis に受理されました。この論文では p=2 の場合の SU(2) の 3重積の商群の分類空間のコホモロジーを扱っています。このコンパクトリー群 SU(2)^3 の中心は位数 8 の基本アーベル群です。その位数 4 の部分群で割った商群を G とおきます。この論文では G の分類空間の整数係数コホモロジー及び mod 2 コホモロジーがべき零元をを持つことを具体的な計算により示しました。(2) 2022年10月7日に単著の論文"Milnor operations and classifying spaces"をプレプリントサーバー arXiv へアップロードし、その後アメリカ数学会の査読のある学術雑誌 Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society に投稿しました。この論文は2023年5月18日に受理されました。1993年に Transaction of the American Mathematical Society で出版された論文で河野氏と柳田氏は Atiyah-Hirzebruch スペクトル系列を用いたコンパクトリー群の分類空間の Brown-Peterson コホモロジーの計算を通して mod p コホモロジーへの Milnor 作用素の作用に関する Kono-Yagita 予想を提唱しました。この論文では Kono-Yagita 予想の反例を p=2 の場合に構成しました。上の論文"Nilpotent elements in the cohomology of the classifying space of a connected Lie group"と同じコンパクトリー群 G の分類空間の mod 2 コホモロジーを取り扱っていますので上の結果を発展させたものとみなすことができます。
