English should be taught as a lingua franca in Asia. This means that shifting the traditional model from that of a native speaker to a bilingual model. Instead of deriving linguistic benchmarks from a native speaker, communication styles and pragmatic norms can be derived from successful bilinguals in Asia. ICT-based education styles enable us to achieve this goal. In order to obtain experimental evidence, we proposed the reliable and valid measurement scales for motivation and social skills as well as automatic assessment of oral production in English.

英语应该作为亚洲的一种弗兰卡教授。这意味着将传统的母语模式转变为双语模式。与其从母语者那里获得语言基准，不如从亚洲成功的双语者那里获得沟通风格和语用规范。基于信息和通信技术的教育方式使我们能够实现这一目标。为了获得实验证据，我们提出了可靠和有效的测量量表的动机和社会技能以及自动评估的英语口语产出。
