A major theme in my research programme is the study of cohomology of Banach algebras with emphasize to its applications to harmonic analysis. A common methodology in my programme is the use of character amenability as a link between cohomology and other structural properties of Banach algebras. Another important methodology is the use of duality as it is understood in abstract harmonic analysis, to formulate conjectures and devise methods of proofs. In the following, I mention a few specific lines of my investigations:
