The Centre for Alternative Wastewater Treatment (CAWT) at Fleming College, in Lindsay, Ontario, is an internationally recognized research institute committed to excellence in applied research and education. The CAWT is highly regarded for its advanced research facilities and has the following objectives: 1) knowledge creation through the development of innovative water and wastewater technologies; 2) application and commercialization through knowledge and technology development; 3) applied learning and training through student involvement and technical training; and 4) collaboration through private and public sector partnerships resulting in community and economic development.
