Waste management continues to be a major global challenge and currently, the majority of the waste treatment processes commercially available are associated with either secondary pollution, have no economic return, or are not commercially viable without any substantial subsidies. ****Suswork Inc.is an Ontario company that provides unique solutions for the treatment of waste by converting it into clean fuel and has exclusive rights to a technology that is a bioenergy waste to energy process that can sustainably treat Municipal Solid Waste to produce high purity bio-methanol by accelerating the rate of biodegradation at a very efficient cost benefit ratio. Through the proposed project in collaboration with Lambton College they propose to research, identify and engage potential end-users for this bio-methanol production technology in creating a genuine market analysis case-study within the region of Lambton County and South Western Ontario.**** This technology is positioned to resolve the challenges of municipal solid waste and organic/biodegradable waste and turn them into useful by-products and providing an opportunity to create sustainable domestic energy from waste. This platform effectively reduces both waste and greenhouse gas emissions while it simultaneously producing high purity bio-methanol. Economic benefits include technology transfer, job creation opportunities and attraction of foreign investments to the Canadian energy sector.
