本研究の目的は、おたく文化系コンベンションの実態を明らかにすることである。本年度は最終年として、研究の取りまとめを行なうとともに、研究成果報告書を作成した。本研究で主に取材・調査対象としたのは、同人誌即売会の「コミックマーケット」と造形物即売会の「ワンダーフェスティバル」である。この二つのコンベンションを中心に、(1)日本におけるおたく文化系コンベンションの歴史と展開をあとづけ、(2)現在のコンベンションの実態を明らかにし、そして、(3)おたく文化系コンベンションの社会的意味について考察した。研究成果報告書の目次を以下に掲げる。第1章 おたく文化系コンベンションについて1.「おたく文化系コンベンション」と「おたく文化」2.おたく文化系コンベンションの展開(1)同人誌即売会3.おたく文化系コンベンションの展開(2)造形物関係4.大衆文化生産社会と「おたく文化系コンベンション」第2章 おたく文化系コンベンション調査1.「ワンフェス」実地調査2.「コミックマーケット」一般参加者調査2.1.調査の実施と回収2.2.調査結果(1)回答者の基本属性2.3.調査結果(2)同人誌即売会参加状況2.4.調査結果(3)同人誌購入状況2.5.調査結果(4)コミックマーケットの魅力など2.6.結びに換えて第3章 そして"解放"とは本研究の当初予定した方法論はカルチュラル・スタディーズ的エスノグラフィー作成であったが、調査対象(コミックマーケット)からの好意的な協力によって、数量的な社会調査の実施が可能となり、調査方法を変更した。これまでこの種の調査の対象となって来なかったおたく文化系コンベンションの実態を数量的データの形で明らかにすることができた。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the status of cultural systems. This year's research results report was prepared. This study is mainly based on the investigation of the object, the relationship between the author and the society, and the relationship between the author and the society.
