项目摘要

当研究では、第二言語としての日本語の韻律の診断と指導プログラムを作成することを目的として研究を行い、以下の成果を得た。(カッコ内に研究実施計画で示した研究内容の番号を記す)1.日本語の母語話者と非母語話者が感情や丁寧さを込めて発話した文に対して、平成2年度に作成したSD尺度を適用した結果、母語話者の場合、感情や丁寧さによってその発話のイメ-ジが有意に異なっており、この尺度の妥当性が検証された。しかし、非母語話者の場合、ていねいさの違いがイメ-ジの差異をもたらさなかったことから「ていねいさ」の表出が困難であった。このように、感情とていねいさを伴う日本語音声のイメ-ジとその物理的特徴を明らかにした。(計画の3と4)2.社会言語学的観点と日本語教育学的観点から、初級学習者に特に重要と思われる「陳述表示型」、「行為指導型」、「感謝・詑び」、「返答」及び「挨拶」を取り上げ、各々について対話を作成した。このうちモジュ-ル教材として、報告・情報伝達とその受け答え・反応の機能を持つ基本対話を作成し、それぞれ4組の発話者と態度を設定した。日本語学習者の立場から発話者と発話場面を想定した。また、発話態度は心理学的観点から情緒のモデルと昨年度の当研究で抽出された情緒特性用語を参考にした。これらの対話を高品質に録音し、各対話音声が意図された発話態度を表出しているか否かの調査を母語話者に対して行い、適切と判定された対話を用い、聴取診断・訓練のためのCAIプログラムを作成した。その際、談話音声の圧縮・復元プログラムを開発すると共に、写真・挿絵の表示を可能とした。また、当プログラムを日本語学習者に試行し、実用性を観察・検討し、談話における韻律の聴取診断・訓練のためのCAIコ-スウエアモデルを提示した。(計画の1と2)
