We investigated to clarify the method of selection of land consolidation area and the method for utilization of waste land of paddy field in steep sloping area. To illustrate the prospect of introducing of animals like cow, deer, sheep, goat etc.for utilization of waste land of paddy field, the field investigation was performed. The results are summarized as follows :1) In steep sloping area, it is difficult to complete utilization of total waste land as paddy field. It is necessary to separate the total mountainous area as suitable for paddy field and turnover to area for producing other farm products.2) The rearing of cow in the waste pastureland usually has three effects ;a) Reduce of heavy labor by using power grass cutter needs for weeding work and consequently improve the sight view.b) Animal production has the effect for environment conservation.c) Protect the outgrowth of hazardous birds and beasts. The effect of rearing of other animals also found like number a) and b).3) The over crowding of deer in the paddock was observed in the deer farm. It is necessary to remember the rearing of exact number of animalss in a paddock is important for proper management. The over crowding of deer is probably due to lack of slaughter and which prevent the circulation of farm products. It is obvious to improve the overall circulation of farm products like meat.4) The animal farming requires a large amount of area and the present status of farm area is not fulfillling the exact requirement. The involvement of agricultural co-operative organization and local administration is necessary for browning the wasteland.
