本年度の研究実績は以下の通りである。継続して、飲食文化に関連する資料の収集に努め、文献資料のみならず東京国立博物館、京都国立博物館、国立民族学博物館およびその他博物館において実物資料の調査を行い、本課題に関する新たな発見があった。京都大學人文科學研究所における「西陲發現中國中世寫本」研究班の班員として共同研究に参加するとともに、研究発表を行った。(3)7月14日から9月6日まで京都国立博物館で開催された「シルクロード:文字を辿って--ロシア探検隊収集の文物」に参画し、図録解説の一部を担当した。(4)2009年8月11日から9月1日にかけて、蘭州、酒泉、嘉峪關、高臺に赴き、墓葬の磚畫に見える飲食内容の調査を行い、すこぶる大きな収穫を得た。(5)2009年9月2日至9月9日にかけて、サンクト・ペテルブルグで開催された「敦煌學:第二個百年的研究視角與問題」(Dunhuang Studies : Prospccts and Problems for the Coming Second Century of Research)国際会議に出席し、「敦煌文献中の羊の名称について」という論文を宣読した。(6)2009年10月11日から15日まで、韓国のソウルで行われた「第11回中華飲食文化學術研討会」に出席し、日本の「唐菓子」の源流と変遷について研究発表した。(7)その他、東洋史研究会、新潟大学、中央大學、関西大学などで行われた各種の学術会議に出席し、学術交流を行うとともに、本研究課題に関する知見を得た。
