This research could clarify how economics is accepted and evolved at LSE during the period between the First and the Second World War, from the following viewpoints : (1) The acceptance and evolution of the continental economics at LSE in the 1930s : on the theme of 'Robbins Circle', (2) LSE and Cambridge : conflicts, collaboration, and LSE's evacuation to Cambridge, (3) The Keynesian Revolution at LSE : Kaldor, Hicks and Lerner, (4) Arnold Plant's group on the industrial organization : Arnold Plant, Ronald Coase, (5) The International social science research center : syllabi with a detailed class schedule of each subject, the physical accommodation's expansion, some invitation lectures, (6) The foundation of the Academic Assistance Council : Beveridge, Robbins and Mises rescuing refugee scholars from the Nazis, (7) The Intellectual history of LSE : Dalton, Cannan, Robbins, Laski, Kaldor, Hicks and et all.

本研究从以下几个方面阐明了第一次世界大战和第二次世界大战之间的经济学是如何在伦敦政治经济学院被接受和发展的：（1）20世纪30年代欧洲大陆经济学在伦敦政治经济学院的接受和发展：以“罗宾斯圈”为主题;（2）伦敦政治经济学院和剑桥：冲突、合作和伦敦经济学院迁往剑桥，（3）伦敦经济学院的凯恩斯主义革命：卡尔多、希克斯和勒纳，（4）阿诺德·普兰特的产业组织小组：阿诺德·普兰特，罗纳德·科斯，（5）国际社会科学研究中心：每门学科的详细课程表，物理住宿的扩展，一些邀请讲座，（6）学术援助理事会的成立：贝弗里奇、罗宾斯和米塞斯从纳粹手中营救难民学者，（7）伦敦政治经济学院的思想史：道尔顿、坎南、罗宾斯、拉斯基、卡尔多、希克斯等。
