This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The goal of the study is to define the characteristics and neuroanatomical correlates of attention and executive impairment in FTD by: * Evaluating neuropsychological differences in executive functioning between FTD, AD, and normals * Test whether specific atrophic regions on MRI are selectively associated with impairments in neuropsych data * Evaluating functional significance (effect on daily functioning) of attentional and executive deficits in FTD and AD An MCI cohort has recently been added in order to investigate differences among FTD, AD, normals, and MCI.
