This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The purposes of this research are 1) to determine the usefulness of an FDA-approved device for measuring changes in walls of blood vessels, 2) to find out if exercise causes immediate changes arterial walls in they human body, and 3) if these changes can be accurately measured by simply recording the pulse.
