3カ年計画の最終年度として、前2カ年に行った調査デ-タの解析を進めるとともに、遅れていた第3次調査として、「被災体験の統合過程」を把握する狙いをもって主婦層の調査を行った。対象は、これまでの世帯調査等の情報から、住宅再建の類型、「再建の順調さ」の主観的評定、さらに年齢および出身地を考慮して選定した112名の主婦である。調査は、留置で本人に記入を依頼するものと面接を組み合わせ、後者については構造化された質問のほか、自由回答を求める形式を多く取入れるとともに、部分的には、これまでの世帯主対象のものと同一項目を入れて比較を可能にする工夫もなされた。その結果、上記のうち48名に調査ができた。合わせて、第2次調査の補充的フォロ-アップとして、借金返済に問題を抱えている世帯、および第1次・第2次調査ともに生活再建が「順調でない」と回答していた「低迷世帯」の若干例について、世帯主に対する聞き取り調査を行った。さらに、被災体験の子供への影響を捉える一環として、小・中・高校において、被災体験がどのように教育上で活用されているかについての聞き取り調査も実施した。以上の結果を前2カ年のデ-タと合わせて分析し、研究報告書を取りまとめつつある。
