This research had two aims. The first one was to investigate the actual conditions of Japanese child-centered art education since World War II.The second one was the examination of methodology aimed at improving the weighting between artistic self-expression and art appreciation so that artistic self-expression is more important than art appreciation within art education in Japanese schools.Throughout this research I was able to examine the following questions. (1) What was the role of Tamiji Kitagawa within the Souzo-Biiku MOVEMENT? (2) What were the main principles of the Souzo-Biiku MOVEMENT, with particular regard to its organization? (3) What was child-centered art education like for adolescents in the UK and US in the 1940's?In addition, I encountered the following new questions. (1) How did those inside and outside the Souzo-Biiku MOVEMENT evaluate it? (2) What was the relationship between the Souzo-Biiku MOVEMENT and Japanese society and culture in those days? (3) What was the historical role of the SOUZO-BIIKU MOVEMENT within art education in Japanese schools after World War II?

这项研究有两个目的。第一个是考察二战以来日本以儿童为中心的艺术教育的实际情况。第二个是方法论考察，旨在提高艺术自我表现与艺术欣赏之间的权重，使艺术自我表现在日本学校艺术教育中比艺术欣赏更重要。通过本研究，我能够探讨以下问题。(1)北川忠治在比库运动中的角色是什么？(2)比库运动的主要原则是什么，特别是关于它的组织？(3)20世纪40年代的S，英国和美国以儿童为中心的青少年艺术教育是什么样的？此外，我还遇到了以下新的问题。(1)传宗派内外人士如何评价？(2)传宗派运动与当时的日本社会文化有何关系？(3)二战后，传宗派运动在日本学校艺术教育中的历史地位如何？
