Cultural Anthropological Study on Tibetan Cultural Revitalization and Identity

文化大革命（1966-1976年）后，中国转向经济改革和开放政策，促使西藏传统文化和寺庙的复兴，导致西藏人身份的改革。本研究的目的是：首先，通过广泛的田野调查，揭示西藏文化复兴的条件;其次，通过对寺庙和节日的复兴、旅游业的发展以及不同社区之间的多民族关系的深入田野调查，从文化人类学的角度阐明文化复兴和身份形成背后的机制。

China's shift to economic reform and an open-door policy following the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976) prompted a revival of traditional culture and monasteries in Tibet, leading to a reformation of the Tibetan identity. This study aimed firstly to shed light on the conditions of the cultural revival in Tibet based on extensive field research over wide areas, and secondly to elucidate the mechanism behind cultural revival and identity formation from the viewpoint of cultural anthropology based on intensive field research regarding the revival of monasteries and festivals, the development of tourism, and the multi-ethnic relationships found among different communities.
