平成19 年度は, 京都大学数理解析研究所(現 筑波大学)の石井敦氏と「コバノフ理論の仮想絡み目への拡張」に関する共同研究を行った. 宮澤多項式の変数の情報をうまく用い, その困難を克服した. 平成20 年度は, ウィリアムカレッジのColin Adams 氏・大阪市立大学数学研究所の新庄玲子氏の両氏と「結び目図式の補領域」に関する研究を行った. 結び目図式が, 二次元球面をいくつかの多角形領域に分割することに注目し, 成果を得た.
