Project Summary The Xenopus Mutant Resource (XMR) was created in 2020 as an R24 resource center at the National Xenopus Resource (NXR) at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA. The purpose of the XMR is to create new mutant and transgenic lines in both Xenopus laevis and Xenopus tropicalis and to provide a destination for researchers to come and work on these various lines. An essential component of the XMR is the ability to host visiting scientists. This grant supports a project to purchase additional equipment that will allow us to more efficiently genotype our animals and be able to quantitatively examine gene expression changes.
