This research was carried out in two years(From2000to2002)。In this research，we perceive the learning environment in this information society as the concept of“Learning Ecology”。The quality/difficulties and functions of the new learning environment have been considered from educational and scientific perspectives Furthermore，these achievements contribute to the review and/or reconstruction of the research methodology of the educational technology.Our research work follows the three evolution processes：1.The evolvement of many education activities in new learning environment.2..The promotion of the re-systematization of the research methodology of the educational technology in which the research focus is put on the teaching and learning activities in this new learning environment.3。The clarification of scientific positioning of educational technology in a new time.The achievements are as follows：·The Current Condition of the Educafional Technology Research-The contents of the educational technology research and the trend of the research methodology-.·The Arrangement of the Paper Categories and Theirs Meanings in the Educational Technology Related Society·Research Methodology in the Educational Technology Research·The Arrangement of the Metadata by Which the Educational Technology Research Is Characterized·The Systematization of the Practice Research in Educational Technology·The Establishment of the Philosophical Fundamentals of Educational Technology·The Proposal of a New Educational Evaluation Method
