项目摘要
Kinectrics specializes in life cycle management services to the electricity industry. Life cycle assessment
helps to better understand the energy and environmental performance of electricity generation systems.
Kinectrics is a leading supplier of Nuclear Plant Engineering services covering all disciplines. For nuclear
plants, they provide specialty engineering and analysis services where they develop and improve piping and
pressure boundary designs. In order to accelerate their growth and for future planning, it has become necessary
for them to develop innovative solutions that improve their efficiency and accuracy. They have approached
Durham College to develop a suite of software automation tools (including the use of Computer Vision) to aid
Design Engineers and Drafting staff to deliver engineering products to their clients. These tools will reduce
tedious tasks and improve accuracy, resulting in enhancing Kinectrics' competitiveness, increasing their
revenues and profitability.
