Proposal of a new phonological unit of phonological typology

通过引入一个新的音系单位“延韵”，对汉语型音系和科伊桑型音系进行跨语言比较，揭示了它们在类型上的相似性，从而更好地理解科伊桑型音系的类型特征。在对科伊桑语音系类型学特征进行新的认识时，引入并阐述了两种分析方法，即（i）跨科伊桑语辅音表和（ii）跨科伊桑语音系模板。基于这些新的发现，本研究对科伊桑语音系中的一些类型学上不寻常的特征提出了一些假设和解释。本研究还进一步提出了一个新的跨科伊桑音系学大型项目的调查问卷。

By introducing a new phonological unit "extended rhyme" into a cross-linguistic comparison between Chinese type phonologies and Khoisan type phonologies, this study has revealed their typological similarities and arrived at a better understanding of typological features of Khoisan phonology. In developing the new understanding of Khoisan phonological typological features, two analytic devices, i.e. (i) Cross-Khoisan Consonant Chart and (ii) Cross-Khoisan phonotactic templates, have been introduced and elaborated. Based on the new findings, this study has proposed a number of hypotheses and explanations for typologically uncommon properties attested in Khoisan phonology. This study also further has proposed the questionnaire of a new large-scaled project on cross-Khoisan phonology.
