マイクロチャンバーアレイを利用して,生体の膜輸送タンパク質の輸送効率を評価する実験系の構築を行った.膜タンパク質を再構成するためには、人工脂質二重膜を高効率で形成する必要があり、その基盤技術を確立した。最終的に、人工脂質二重膜にABC輸送膜タンパク質を再構成し,それらにより輸送基質分子を微小空間(マイクロチャンバー)中に蓄積させ,蛍光顕微鏡による検出を試みた.本課題では、解決すべき課題が残るものの、膜輸送タンパク質の輸送を定量評価するための有力な技術基盤を確立した。
